Seodaemun-gu Office and HoneyNaps have entered into a business agreement for the health and safety of expectant mothers

"The second public postnatal care center in Seoul, following the one in Songpa-gu, is scheduled to be completed in October 2022."

"The facility, with a total floor area of 1,351 square meters, will include 12 rooming-in mother's rooms and a mother and child health center."

"A memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed for consulting services focused on maternal health and safety at the public postnatal care center in Seodaemun-gu."

On the 30th of last month, Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Seokjin Moon) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a public postnatal care center and subsequently signed a business agreement with consulting company HoneyNaps, aiming to provide advanced newborn health management and maternal recovery services.

HoneyNaps is a bio-medical company that has been providing services in monitoring areas requiring careful management for approximately 60 medical clinics, nursing homes, and postnatal care centers nationwide since 2018. In addition to Seodaemun-gu, they have secured government-operated public postnatal care centers as their customers, including Cheorwon-gun Public Postnatal Care Center, Yanggu-gun Public Postnatal Care Center, Ulsan Buk-gu Public Postnatal Care Center, and Miryang City Public Postnatal Care Center.

The Seodaemun-gu Public Postnatal Care Center is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2022, and preparations are underway to welcome the first mothers by the end of the year. The facility will have a total floor area of 1,351 square meters, spanning one basement level and four above-ground levels. It is planned to have a total of 12 rooming-in mother's rooms. The total budget for the project is estimated to be 9.7 billion KRW.
