Sleep specialized company, HoneyNaps, announced on the 26th that its proprietary non-contact sleep analysis solution, 'SOMNUM Scanning,' obtained certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on the 7th.
This Certification a necessary procedure that must be completed before selling healthcare electronic products in the United States. The company has completed certification for SOMNUM Scanning, ensuring that it is safe for human use in accordance with FCC's human exposure standards. Based on this certification, the company plans to expand its exports to North America.
HoneyNaps' SOMNUM Scanning is a non-contact sleep analysis and coaching solution developed for the purpose of collecting sleep data. Based on patented technologies from domestic and international sources, this system has undergone clinical trials with over 2,000 participants to ensure accuracy. HoneyNaps is currently preparing for medical device approval for home sleep testing (HST) as a result of these efforts.
A representative from HoneyNaps stated, "Our SOMNUM Scanning product has achieved similar accuracy compared to existing medical devices, and its mattress fabric and seamless design ensure easy installation and user-friendly experience for customers. With the FCC certification, we will commence the California Public Monitoring Project and engage in various collaborative projects with local clinics and companies through our U.S. subsidiary."
